Contains 7 original, fall-themed stories that are loaded with the following sounds: ch/j, f/v, r, s/z, /"sh"/, /"th"/. Use them to work on articulation, reading or listening comprehension, or both! Great for mixed groups! Each story has a paragraph-length Level I version for younger elementary students and a Level II version for older elementary and middle school students. Following each story is a list of basic "wh" questions and more complex extension or critical-thinking questions. Each Level II story is also packed with higher-level, tier II vocabulary words-- work on definitions/synonyms and determining word meanings using context clues. Also included with each story is a blank page where the student can draw and then describe what they had visualized while listening to or reading the story.
